Because coincidentally, the episode where Gokû and Vegeta begin their 3 years in the RoSaT together airs on Valentine's Day. 
(Though in-universe the story's taking place in August.)
Also, though unrelated! King Ryû (Vegeta's Family Vacation, Chef Vegeta, the 1:41 long Princess-Catch, the "Gokû and Vegeta lose the concept of personal space but only with each other" ep among others) gets to be Series Composer for the Uni 6/Champa arc!
