SO I decided "Well Gokû typically doesn't do a thing to his hair, and only wears suits begrudgingly--even in Movie 8 where he protests by wearing his dougi underneath his suit--so what if his original choice of fancy outfit overpowered Bulma's fancy outfit so much she made him wear a suit so she'd be the one with the spotlight on her?" and so the above mini-comic.
